Makeup Collection: Lips 2

Makeup Collection 2016: Lip Gloss

I have so much lip gloss that it's not even funny. I don't really even wear lip gloss that much. This is far too much for one person to use in a two year time period, and yet I still have it all. I do plan to declutter soon, so it should be more manageable then.

These are the majority of my squeezy tube glosses. I don't tend to use gloss in this form, but I do have a few I've been gifted, as well as some I bought at the dollar store because I thought they would smell good.

These are the glosses from the dollar store, along with an unopened glow in the dark gloss.

These are two Milani glosses I got at the dollar store. They're really pretty, but they've smelled a bit off since I got them, so I'm probably just going to get rid of them next time I declutter.

These are the E.L.F. lip stains I got a while back. I'll probably declutter these too since I rarely use them. They're great quality and super pretty, but I just never reach for stains.

Out of all the glosses I own, the Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in Margaret is by far my favorite. It tingles in a way I enjoy and it looks gorgeous. The other two glosses here are really good, especially the Laura Mercier one.

A while ago I got these Profusion Feline Lip Lusters in a set. I haven't gotten the chance to play around with them as much as I would like to yet, but I'll put up a review when I have.

These are just three random gloss-like products I never really give enough love to. I just got the Provocalips, but I still haven't used it nearly as much as I should.

The three lip glosses here are also from the dollar store. They smelled off when I got them as well, so I'll have to get rid of them.

Revlon doesn't appear to sell the glosses shown here anymore, which means it's probably time to throw them away. The Stila gloss, however, I just opened recently so it's still good.

I can't find the brand of the two red glosses anywhere on the tube, but I know the orange one is from Wet' n' Wild. They're all okay glosses, just not the absolute best.

These two Urban Decay glosses are brand new, and I featured them in a haul a little while back. They're incredibly pigmented, but I'm not sure about how longwearing they are yet.

Lastly, I have three Fusion Beauty glosses, two of which have amazing pigmentation. The other one has decent pigmentation. I go into more detail about them in my recent review.

Lip Gloss First Impression

Fusion Beauty Lip Fusion Infatuation Lip Gloss First Impression

I got these three lip glosses in a set for Christmas, and although I can't find the set anywhere online, they are all full size and you can buy them all separately on the Fusion Beauty website. They cost $29.00 USD each, which I personally don't think is a fair price. I haven't worn them for long, but they're quite sticky and although I like them, I would not pay more than $10.00 USD for them. Since I received them as a gift and I do really like them, I'm sure I'll use them all up at some point, but I most likely will not repurchase them. They tingle a bit on the lips. I got the colors In The Flesh, Pucker Up, and Full Frontal.

This is the shade In The Flesh on my lips. It's the most sheer of the three, even when you apply quite a bit.

This is the shade Pucker Up, which is the most pigmented of the three. Although I would assume it doesn't last as long as a lipstick since it's a gloss, it's definitely as pigmented as one.

This is Full Frontal, which is my favorite one. It has just as much opacity as I want in a gloss - not too little, not too much.

Lippies Part Two - Lip Gloss

My Lippies Collection Part Two - Lip Gloss

This is the second part of my lippies collection - lip glosses! This isn't all of them, but it is the majority. I don't actually use lip gloss very often, so I don't have as many lip glosses as I have balms or lipsticks.

First up are two lip glosses I found at Dollar Tree. I haven't tried them yet but they do smell good.

Next I have two Philosophy glosses that I've never used that I'm not sure you can even get anymore. I imagine that they're good but I still have to try them.

After that I have two old Revlon glosses I'm pretty sure they don't make anymore. I really like the red one, it's very pigmented.

Next are three Milani glosses I found at Dollar Tree. I can't seem to find them on the Milani website so I'm not sure where else you could find them.

Lastly, I have three random glosses. The one on the left and the one in the middle are from Dollar Tree, and the one on the right was a gift at some point.

Lip Gloss Review

Buxom Full-On Lip Polish Review

A while back I was gifted a Buxom Full-On Lip Polish in the shade Margaret and I decided I wanted to review it. Let me know what you think! You can buy it here for $19.00 USD.

Here's the lip gloss packaging. It's very sleek, and I think it looks pretty fancy. I really like the font that the company chose to use. The packaging doesn't leak at all when stored on it's side for long periods of time.

Here's the gloss on my lips. It's quite opaque and pigmented compared to most of the glosses I own, which is actually quite a few considering I don't wear lip gloss very often. You could wear this on it's own and still have noticeable color on your lips. The color is described on Sephora as "mocha rapture". I think the mocha part is pretty accurate (and I drink lots of mochas) but I'm not sure what the rapture part is supposed to mean. They probably threw that in to make it sound cooler. It makes your lips tingle in a pleasant way, just like the description on Sephora claims it does, and I do notice a small amount of lip plumping when I wear it. This isn't good or bad for me, since I'm happy with how my lips look either way. The description also says it contains vitamins A and E, which is great! Both vitamins A and E help smooth your lips, and vitamin E helps with healing them. I'm always looking for things that contain vitamin E for my constantly dry and chapped lips. Overall, I would say that this is a fantastic lip gloss, although $19.00 USD seems a little steep. I would gladly pay as much as $15.00 USD, though!
